The mission of the Heart of America Pit Bull Club is to promote the American Pit Bull Terrier in a positive and productive way, to host events such as fun shows and competitions for APBT's that will showcase the best of this amazing breed, hold fund raisers for Pit Bull rescue and welfare, to continue the fight to end Breed Specific Legislation, and to educate the public on responsible ownership and the REAL APBT. This club exists to give owners and those who simply love this breed a place to come together, to share information regarding Pit Bulls in need across the country, to share stories and photos, and to be part of a growing community of like minded lovers of the American Pit Bull Terrier.
Founded in July, 2013, the HOAPBC is dedicated to the welfare of the American Pit Bull Terrier. We believe strongly that educating owners and the public about these dogs and their proper care, is key in ending the stigma that has been unfairly attached to them through ignorance and terribly inaccurate media portrayal. It is also one of our main goals, through education and action, to end neglect, cruelty, and the heinous and barbaric activity of fighting these incredible and loyal dogs.
**The Heart of America Pit Bull Club is not a registry. We can not register dogs, or provide registration papers or pedigrees for your dogs. We support APBR, ADBA, and UKC for this purpose. Thanks!
